It sits in the developed area of Rio del Oro and the beautiful subdivision of Las Maravillas which has over 500 homes in it sits just to the south along the paved Manzano Expressway. The Manzano Vista Middle School sits just to the southwest as seen in the photos and aerial maps. The road to the school is in and we drove down Psachos Circle to try and reach the property but the road needs improved the rest of the way to reach the property. But we got pretty close! There are some sand dunes out in the area as seen in the photos that look like they sit just to the south by the school. So be careful driving out to look at the land. Marlink Blvd is paved and so is Manzano Expressway. The property sits at the end of a culdesac and there is a dedicated easement to the property. Across the street to the northeast is an RV park. There is a bike trail that runs along the east side of the Manzano Expressway and adjoins the property on its east. So there is a bike trail on the east side of the property which you can see in some of the photos!
There are fabulous views of the Manzano Mountains from the northeast to the southeast. There was snow still in the Manzano Mountain peaks and her treed hillsides were beautiful! Across the valley to the west are more pretty views of hills. It has been a few years since I drove through Los Lunas, Belen and Rio del Oro and I was VERY surprised to see just how much this place had grown.
This lot is zoned for multi family or single family. After 2011 there will no longer be any annual POA dues on this property! I think this is a great investment and is the closest lot we have ever owned to the growth! Make us an offer we can't refuse! Enjoy! Char the Explorer : )
